Terms of Service for Yoga Retreats

Welcome to Homegrown Power Yoga Adventures, LLC ("HPY Adventures"). By participating in any retreat organized by HPY Adventures, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Scope of Activities: HPY Adventures offers yoga retreats that include various activities, such as yoga classes, meditation sessions, and other wellness activities. Participants understand and acknowledge that these activities involve physical exertion and may pose inherent risks.

  2. Assumption of Risk: Participants voluntarily assume all risks associated with participating in the retreat, including but not limited to physical injuries, property damages, or other losses that may arise during the course of the retreat activities.

  3. Health and Fitness: Participants certify that they are physically and mentally capable of participating in strenuous physical activities involved in the retreat. HPY Adventures recommends consulting a healthcare professional before joining if there are any concerns about health conditions.

  4. Liability Waiver: Participants release HPY Adventures, its instructors, agents, and affiliates from any liability for personal injury, death, property damage, or any other loss arising from or in connection with participation in the retreat activities, except where caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct.

  5. Waiver of Liability for Transportation:
    As part of the retreat, HPY Adventures arranges transportation between the retreat's designated hotels and the retreat location. By participating in the retreat, I acknowledge and accept the following:

    • I voluntarily assume all risks associated with the transportation provided by HPY Adventures, including but not limited to accidents, injuries, delays, or any other incidents that may occur during transportation.

    • I hereby release HPY Adventures, its drivers, agents, employees, and affiliates from any liability for damages, injuries, or other losses arising from my participation in the transportation to and from the retreat.

    • I understand that this waiver applies to both the transportation to and from the retreat location and any interim travel between scheduled retreat activities that may be facilitated by HPY Adventures.

  6. Insurance: HPY Adventures recommends that participants have adequate travel and health insurance coverage for the duration of the retreat. HPY Adventures does not provide insurance coverage for participants.

  7. Cancellation and Refunds: All payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the retreat details. HPY Adventures reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case a refund or alternative arrangement may be offered.

  8. Photography and Media: HPY Adventures reserves the right to use photographs or videos taken during the retreat for promotional purposes. Participants consent to their likeness being used for these purposes without compensation.

  9. Miscellaneous: These terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between the participant and HPY Adventures concerning the retreat, superseding any prior agreements or discussions.

Governing Law: These terms and conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
